No matter how many books have you read over design patterns, clean code, practical API design. You should be very careful before you put in practice advance designs in your project. I love the Perl’s motto: ‘Making easy things easy and hard things possible’. In other words, please do not show off your knowledge, just for the sake of proving to the others how smart you are.
